Manual or machine sanding can smooth the surface and reduce visible layer lines. This method helps refine the texture to be smoother.

Mechanical polishing to give the surface a glossy or matte finish. It can enhance the aesthetics and smoothness of the part, particularly for parts that need a more refined appearance.

A chemical vapor treatment is applied to the surface to dissolve surface imperfections, providing a glossy and smoother finish.

MJF parts can be dyed to achieve uniform coloration. The dye soaks into the porous surface of the material, allowing for consistent and vibrant colors.

Applying paint to the part can add color and improve its aesthetic appearance, helping to cover surface imperfections and create a more polished look.

An epoxy resin coating is applied to the part for increased smoothness and durability. It also helps to fill in the surface roughness and provides a protective layer.
